From founding and selling my startup Clevver after generating billions of views and millions in revenue to advising YouTube creator Ms. Rachel's growth to 300M monthly views, I use my 20+ years of YouTube experience to help you build an audience that grows your brand and your bottom line.
We'll map your YouTube growth opportunity and see if it's a fit.

Selected Work
Every engagement is measured against one standard: did it move the business? Here's what that looks like in practice.
Ms. Rachel had a passionate following and a genuine gift for connecting with toddlers, but no YouTube strategy for scaling. I worked with her team on content strategy, programming, and operations, and the YouTube channel grew from 200,000 monthly views to 300 million, a 150,000% increase that made her one of the most watched children's educators in YouTube history.
When I joined as GM of Video, production costs had skyrocketed, YouTube strategy was inconsistent, and the division was barely profitable. I restructured the team, cut $1M in waste, expanded YouTube distribution through new digital partnerships, and turned a struggling video operation into a $12M/year business generating nearly 3 billion annual views.
In 2006, I co-founded Clevver with no outside funding and no playbook, because YouTube was two years old and no one had proven it could sustain a real media company. I built it from scratch into a 35-person YouTube-native operation with 7 channels, 1.6 billion views, and a successful acquisition, making it one of the earliest exits of a YouTube-native media company.
After acquiring Clevver, Alloy Digital tasked me with launching a brand new YouTube gaming channel under the Smosh brand, an untested format with no guaranteed audience. I helped lead the YouTube channel from concept to launch, and within 90 days it hit 1 million subscribers, one of the fastest growth trajectories in YouTube history, going on to accumulate 2.4 billion total views.
When I joined KQED, one of the most-watched PBS stations in the country, its digital video operation was fragmented across 12 YouTube channels and 30 distribution points with no unified strategy or meaningful revenue. I developed a multi-year growth plan, restructured production, and realigned priorities across platforms, doubling video revenue and growing total video views 55% in the first year.
Do Any of These Sound Familiar?
If any of these sound like you, let's talk. Most YouTube channels spend years and hundreds of thousands (sometimes millions) of dollars figuring out what works. I help you skip that.
"I know YouTube should be part of my business, but I don't know where to start."
I build you a clear YouTube strategy from the ground up, covering content direction, audience growth, and monetization.
"We have a YouTube channel and we're posting consistently, but I can't point to what it's actually doing for the business."
I help you define what success looks like for your specific business goals, then build the strategy to get you there.
"I'm an expert in my field but I have no idea how to turn that into videos people actually watch."
I create a title, thumbnail, and content ideation playbook so your expertise becomes a YouTube channel that grows.
"We have video ideas but I don't know if they're the right ones or if anyone actually wants that content."
I use platform data and audience behavior to tell you exactly what to make and why.
"My videos aren't growing. I don't know what I'm doing wrong."
I diagnose what's broken and fix the packaging, cadence, and strategy that's holding you back.
"I want my videos on TikTok and Instagram but my team is already stretched thin."
I build a cross-platform system that repurposes your content without burning out your team.
"I don't know how to film or edit, and production feels expensive and out of reach."
I help you build a production setup that's lean, affordable, and built for YouTube and social.
"We need senior video leadership but can't justify a full-time hire."
I act as your fractional head of video, giving you executive-level strategy without the overhead.
"I already have a YouTube channel with real subscribers, but growth has stalled and I don't know why."
I audit what's working, diagnose what's holding you back, and build a plan to get you growing again.
About
After USC Film School and working for super-producer Jerry Bruckheimer, I walked away from Hollywood and bet my career on a two-year-old platform called YouTube.
I built Clevver from scratch into one of the YouTube's first media companies, grew it to billions of views, millions in revenue, and sold it.
Since then I've taken that same founder's instinct to Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, PBS, and Ms. Rachel, helping each of them turn YouTube into a real growth and revenue engine.
Every client gets my direct attention, a strategy built from scratch, and 20 years of hard-won experience. No templates, no shortcuts.
Work Together
I work with a select number of clients at any given time. If you're serious about growing a video business, let's talk.
